Dairy Chilling

Dairy products are prone to deterioration during and after manufacturing, requiring efficient methods during all stages of production through to transit to combat this.

Cryogenic Chilling explained…

Cryogenic Chilling (CC) uses CO2 – in liquid, gas and dry ice form – rapidly ensuring that dairy products preserve their quality and bio-count, prolonging shelf-life and as a result – a consumer and business-friendly solution. This process can apply to both batches of dairy products or during all production stages and even through transit.

Advantages of CO2 in CC:

  • More cost-effective than other methods
  • Space saving within your premises
  • Improved efficiency through a quicker process
  • Improved quality of the dairy product – i.e. appearance, taste and freshness
  • Minimal chance of bacterial growth
  • Low maintenance costs
